Reflect, Recharge, Rejoice: ParkBee's Winter Event & 2025 Kick-off
ParkBee closed 2024 with a festive Winter Event featuring team reflections, stroopwafel making, and an exciting Croatia offsite announcement, then launched into 2025 with a strategic kick-off breakfast and family celebration.

Reflect, Recharge, Rejoice: Closing 2024 in style
Before the festive break, we rounded off 2024 with our traditional Winter Event, with this edition titled "Reflect, Recharge, Rejoice". It was the perfect opportunity to pause, look back at an incredible year, and celebrate together as a team before the holidays.
Our team spent the day revisiting our highlights and learnings of the year—from major product launches to market expansions, from customer wins to the countless small victories that made 2024 memorable. These reflection sessions reminded us of how far we've come and the collective effort that powers ParkBee's mission.
Making memories (and stroopwafels)
The day took a delicious turn as we rolled up our sleeves to make traditional Dutch stroopwafels together. There's something special about creating something from scratch as a team—the laughter, the slightly burnt attempts, the perfectly golden successes, and the inevitable taste-testing that followed. It was a sweet reminder that the best results come from working together, even if they're sometimes a bit messy along the way.
An evening at Badhuis Amsterdam
As the day transitioned to evening, we gathered at Badhuis in Amsterdam for a more relaxed celebration. The historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for team members to connect beyond work projects, share stories from the year, and simply enjoy each other's company in a beautiful setting.
The Croatia announcement
But the most memorable moment of the evening came when we announced our international offsite destination: Croatia in May 2025! The excitement in the room was palpable as we revealed plans for this upcoming adventure. It's not just about the destination—though Croatia's stunning coastline doesn't hurt—it's about bringing the entire team together to align on our vision, strengthen connections, and create experiences that will fuel our collaboration throughout the year.
Springing into 2025
Last week, we reconvened and sprang back into action with our 2025 Kick-off breakfast session. Fresh from the holiday break and energized by the new year ahead, we reviewed our strategy for the year and celebrated a major milestone that sets the tone for what we aim to achieve in 2025.
The breakfast session was all business—in the best way possible. We aligned on priorities, discussed our roadmap, and ensured everyone understood how their work contributes to ParkBee's larger mission of building Europe's largest interconnected parking network.
Welcome, mini_bees!
We followed on later with a social gathering that brought a special energy to the office. We were excited to host our guests of honour: our #mini_bees. Seeing the office filled with the children of our team members—babies, peuters, and kleuters—was a joyful reminder of the lives and families behind the work we do every day.
Kudos to the babies, peuters, and kleuters for being so well-behaved (it was worth all the popcorn on the floor!). Watching our team members balance toddlers on their laps during conversations, give office tours to curious children, and proudly introduce their little ones to colleagues was genuinely heartwarming. It reinforced that ParkBee isn't just a company—it's a community of people building something meaningful together.
Here's to 2025
As we dive into the year ahead, these moments of connection—from stroopwafel making to strategy sessions to welcoming the mini_bees—remind us why we do what we do. We're not just revolutionizing parking; we're building a company where people want to work, grow, and celebrate together.
Here's to a year of innovation, growth, and more memorable moments ahead!
