The ParkBee Philosophy
Our founding principle is simple: cities don’t need more parking spaces. We need to use what we already have in better ways.

We believe the future of cities isn’t about more space for cars, but about better space for people.
That means fewer vehicles circling for parking, fewer traffic-clogged streets, and less space wasted on concrete that sits idle. Instead, we’re building a future where every parking space has a purpose. Where parking is optimised, connected, and integrated into a smarter, more sustainable urban ecosystem.
Our founding principle is simple: cities don’t need more parking spaces. We need to use what we already have in better ways.
The urban parking mismatch
Across Europe, cities are grappling with crowded streets, polluted air, and drivers endlessly circling in search of a spot.
- Up to 30% of urban traffic is caused by people searching for a spot.
- Meanwhile, 30-50% of private parking spots in city centres sit empty during peak hours.
The result? Congestion, unnecessary emissions, and frustrated drivers.
The core problem is disconnection: many spaces exist, but they aren’t visible or accessible to drivers when they need them. And so we keep building more.
How ParkBee makes hidden spaces work for cities
Cities don’t need more parking. Instead of adding more parking, ParkBee rethinks how we use what we already have.
1. We identify underused private car parks
We work with office buildings, residential blocks, hotels, and other property owners who have unused spaces at specific times like evenings, weekends, off-peak hours, or even full days. Millions of these spots sit behind barriers across Europe, unused.
2. We connect them to public demand
We turn these idle, off-street spots into active, bookable spaces on major mobility platforms, including the household names like Google Maps, Easypark, Justpark, etc. This gives drivers access to parking where they need it, when they need it.
3. We enable digital access and payment
Drivers don’t need a keycard or an app download. We use smart integrations with existing barrier systems (or add cost-effective ones) to enable seamless entry and exit.
4. We optimise space usage dynamically
With dynamic data on demand and availability, we adjust pricing, update occupancy, and surface the right spaces to the right people. This ensures city infrastructure is used as efficiently as possible.
We make parking part of the journey.

Collaboration at the core
We know that no single company can solve urban mobility alone. That’s why ParkBee is built on partnerships: with property owners, municipalities, tech platforms, and transport providers.
We create shared value:
- Cities reduce congestion
- Space owners generate new income
- Drivers enjoy a smoother, faster experience
Through integrations with parking apps, navigation systems, and parking management tools, users can easily find and access our spaces with no extra downloads or effort. Space owners don’t need to overhaul their systems to get started.
This is what smarter mobility looks like: connected, collaborative, and user-first.
Partnerships in action
Collaboration is core to how ParkBee operates and grows. We don’t believe in building closed systems. We believe in creating connected ecosystems. That’s why our network is powered by strong partnerships across three key categories:
1. Parking apps
We work with leading parking apps like EasyPark and JustPark to ensure drivers can access ParkBee locations directly through the tools they already know and trust.
There’s no need to download a separate app. Drivers simply search, book, and pay through their preferred platform and ParkBee operates invisibly in the background.
This approach brings hundreds of hidden parking locations into the daily journeys of millions of users. For our partners, it means:
- Better coverage: ParkBee operates 150+ locations in Amsterdam alone (that’s 4x more than the largest public operator!) and is present across Europe.
- Better value: Our locations are often more affordable due to low occupancy and efficient tech.
- Better business: ParkBee offers commissions up to 10x higher than typical on-street parking, depending on the market and product type.
“Teaming up with ParkBee lets our drivers park at off-street spaces at the tap of a button, right where they need them.” — EasyPark
2. Navigation apps
ParkBee integrates with Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze so drivers can discover and navigate to available off-street spaces directly from their maps app.
These integrations improve findability and reduce circling, which in turn helps cities reduce congestion and emissions.
Drivers get a smoother journey. And our partners see increased usage and visibility without any added friction.
3. Parking Management Systems (PMS)
ParkBee also partners with third-party Parking Management Systems like Cegeka, Toogethr, and XPark to enable digital access at physical locations to provide property owners ease of mind regarding their operations.
These integrations work in two ways:
- We connect to existing PMS systems via API, so property owners can activate their space on ParkBee without changing infrastructure.
- We also advise property owners about advanced PMS technology when a location doesn’t have a system in place to help them smoothen the operation.
For PMS providers, partnering with ParkBee means:
- Enhancing their value to clients by offering access to ParkBee’s ecosystem
- Creating a new revenue stream via demand from over 20 connected platforms
- A fast integration process (typically completed in under two weeks)
This layered approach — connecting users, navigation, and infrastructure — is what makes ParkBee a unique enabler in the urban mobility space.
We don’t just build technology. We connect it, scale it, and make it useful.
A vision for the future: Less circling, lower emissions

Better and efficient parking isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s a powerful way to cut traffic emissions. By guiding drivers directly to available spaces, we reduce engine idling, noise, and air pollution.
ParkBee is the leading network of digitally accessible parking in Europe by building a trusted layer in the urban mobility stack, connected into navigation apps and public transport journeys.
And our impact goes beyond cars.
We believe every hidden space we activate, every car park we digitise, and every driver we support brings us closer to more liveable cities where streets are built for people, not just parked cars.
Imagine a city where parking is invisible. Where traffic no longer dominates. Where walking, cycling, and green spaces define the landscape.
That’s the future ParkBee is building. One parking space at a time.
